Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP): 100% waterproof – perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Softer and quieter underfoot than laminate. Very durable, with excellent resistance to water, stains, and everyday wear. Laminate Flooring: Made from compressed fiberboard with a photographic layer that mimics wood or stone. More affordable than hardwood and offers a wide range of styles. Durable against dents, but more prone to scratching than vinyl. Traditionally not waterproof, but many modern laminates now feature water-resistant or waterproof technology. Best suited for living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
